Dr. Kenneth W. Hauck is a 1968 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY. After service in the infantry both in the United States and Vietnam, he graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine in 1975. He completed his internship and residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in 1980. He served as chief, Otolaryngology Service at Fort Hood, Texas until 1982 and then returned to Walter Reed as Assistant Chief, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Service, where he also served as specialty consultant to the White House.
Promoted to Colonel in 1986, Dr. Hauck retired from the Army in 1988 and opened his medical practice in Montgomery County, Maryland. Dr. Hauck is board certified and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Active academically, Dr. Hauck is adjunct Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences and an Associate Clinical professor at George Washington University School of Medicine. He is chief of the Otolaryngology subsections at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland and at Washington Adventist Hospital in Takoma Park, Maryland. Dr. Hauck has a clinical appointment at NIH/NIDCD Division of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Oncology. Dr. Hauck has two sons and lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland, with his wife.
