Amy Arruda, PA-C
Amy was born and raised in Massachusetts. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant, Amy practiced as an Occupational Therapist for five years treating both children and adults. She went on to earn her Masters of Science in Health Sciences from the George Washington University Physician Assistant Program and joined our practice in 2007. Amy has achieved board certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. In addition, she is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery. As an ENT Physician Assistant, Amy can diagnose, order tests, prescribe medications, and assist in surgery.
Amy resides in Washington, D.C. and enjoys the art of photography as her hobby.
